INFORMATION for COACHING STAFF & TEAM MANAGERS
Preparation for Preliminary Schedule Release for Team Staff
– PRELIMINARY SCHEDULES –
RELEASE DATE TO TEAM STAFF ONLY:
Friday, July 31, 2026, by 11:59 pm.
FINAL schedules will not be ready for the team (players/parents) until Friday, September 4, 2026, 10:00 pm.
Once final schedules are complete, they will be posted on the WDDOA website under the Platinum / Prime / Challenger / Alpha “SCHEDULES” buttons.
Team managers and coaches should begin working on schedules for the upcoming seasonal year.
Games will be held from September 12, 2026 through April 4, 2027.
Please note the designated rainout weekends:
Fall: Nov 21-22, Dec 5-6, Dec 12-13 – Spring: Apr 10-11
Parents: Please make sure that you have identified any weekend conflicts for the entire seasonal year and be prepared to share this information with you team manager, in case they are collecting it during this planning phase.

ONCE PRELIMINARY SCHEDULES ARE RELEASED ...
To view your initial schedule, please log in to your GotSport COACH or TEAM MANAGER ACCOUNT.
Please remember that the PRELIMINARY SCHEDULES SHOULD NOT BE SHARED IN ANY FORM WITH YOUR TEAM!
START working with your opponents on game agreements … please utilize the CHAT FUNCTION in GotSport to document the discussions (not email or text messages). The GotSport Chat Function situates communications regarding a particular game in a common location that may be referenced by both the teams and WDDOA. GotSport Chats are considered the official communication and/or agreement between teams.
NEUTRAL SITE GAMES
The WDDOA Scheduling Meeting(s) will be held via Zoom on August 7th-8th-9th for Neutral Site Games.
We are putting the final touches on the details for the upcoming scheduling meeting(s). Information will be posted as soon as it becomes available!
NEUTRAL SITE GAMES:
- Games in Platinum are all neutral site games
- Games in Prime are all neutral site games
- Games in Challenger, all teams playing a neutral site model have “Neutral” listed in front of their team names in the GotSport schedule
Fields and Referees are at a premium. There may not be many rescheduling options available, so please TRY to make your preliminary schedule(s) work.
Games in Challenger that DON’T have the word “Neutral” in front of the home team’s name in the GotSport schedule are HOME/AWAY games and will be scheduled as such.
HOME/AWAY GAMES
HOME/AWAY GAMES:
- Games in Challenger that DON’T have the word “Neutral” listed in front of the team’s name in the GotSport schedule
- Games in Alpha are all Home/Away game
Home/Away Teams please coordinate with your opponent. Then the HOME team must coordinate with their HOME CLUB field assignor to get the game scheduled and placed.
These games must be scheduled in the system. Club Field Assignors will be provided instructions and means to place Home/Away games.
OFFSITE TRAVEL GAMES for HOME/AWAY TEAMS – SCHEDULING PROCESS:
Games in the Alpha Flight and Challenger Flight that have been labeled “Offsite Travel Games” in the GotSport schedule are games that will be scheduled at a site OTHER than the Home Club’s fields due to the distance between the opponents’ Home Associations (not clubs).

Important ! - PLEASE READ !
COACHES/TEAM MANAGERS:
Double check that you have completed ALL Adult Compliance requirements (SafeSport, Background Check, CDC Training) by logging in to your GotSport Coach or Team Manager account.
If you have completed ALL of your Adult Compliance requirements and do not see your team(s) listed in your account, contact your CLUB REGISTRAR. The only way you will be able to access your preliminary schedule(s) online is through this team assignment. The only way to be assigned to a team is through your CLUB REGISTRAR!
Coaches and/or Team Managers must be associated with or attached to their teams in the “2026-2027 WDDOA Registration Event (Official STYSA Roster/Cards)” to be able to see their schedules.
CHECK the TIME ZONE in your account!
Coach and/or Team Manager profiles must be set up (and saved) to reflect that we live in the “Central Time (US and Canada) (CDT)” zone. The system seems to default to Eastern Standard Time. If you profile indicated the wrong time zone, this MUST be changed to “Central Time (US and Canada) (CDT)” and saved, or else when viewing your schedule(s), all your games will reflect the wrong time.
