This information is for PLATINUM games, PRIME games and the games in CHALLENGER where the Home Team (listed first) has “Neutral –” in front of the team name that have been RAINED OUT in the online GotSport schedule. If you simply want to reschedule your game, please read and follow the instructions above.

On Game Day:

• Check the WDDOA Website Field Status page for Neutral Site Games. This is the ONLY Official field status page for WDDOA Neutral Site games, NOT CLUB WEBSITES.
• WDDOA Neutral Site Games will be moved if possible, the day of, and an email will be sent through the GotSport system to all contacts (coaches and managers) with all the new pertinent information for the game. Contact details in GotSport must be accurate in order to receive this information
• Game Cancelation determination: It is vital to check for field status in the CORRECT place. WDDOA games are NOT considered canceled until the official schedule in GotSport notates the status as “Rained Out”

Canceled / Rained Out Reschedule Process:

Games that cannot be moved will receive an official cancelation notice email, which will be sent through the GotSport system to all contacts (coaches and managers) with the LINK to the “Rainout Reschedule Feedback Form.” Contact details in GotSport must be accurate in order to receive this information. Remember that while we will be mindful of your feedback, we may not be able to provide a conflict free reschedule as we have to account for field and referee availability.

• Communicate with the other team through the Chat system in GotSport to explore mutually agreeable dates and times for both teams. ALL communication between the teams, including which team will submit the RainedOut Game Reschedule Feedback, MUST be documented within the GotSport Chat system.
• The designee must complete the Online Form: include all required information as well as 1st, 2nd, and 3rd options for the games. Failure to provide more than 1 option will drastically reduce the chance for desired reschedule.
• Feedback must be submitted via the Online Form a maximum of THREE (3) days after receiving the form link.
• Failure to submit this form will result in an AUTOMATIC reschedule by WDDOA, which will be final.
• Failure to respond to the opposing team within a reasonable amount of time may result in the game being rescheduled based on single-team feedback. A SINGLE TEAM MAY SUBMIT A FORM IF THE OPPONENT IS BEING NON-RESPONSIVE.

This information is for all CHALLENGER games where the Home Team (listed first) does NOT have “Neutral –” in front of the team name as well as all ALPHA games in the online GotSport schedule. Rained out games MUST be rescheduled (not played) within 5 Days of the original rained out game: this means if a game is rained out on Saturday, there should be communication from both teams, an agreement reached, and a rainout reschedule form submitted by the home club field assigner by the following THURSDAY.

Field Status:

On or before Game Day, the Home Club will determine the Field Status/Closure. As soon as Field Status is determined, the Home Team must notify the Away Team. Teams are strongly encouraged to include communication through the GotSport chat system.

Rained Out Reschedule Process:

1. While communicating home field closure, explore availability common to both teams for the reschedule, provide several options through the GotSport Chat system of availability for your team, whether you are the home or the away team.
2. The home team will reach out to their Home Field Assignor to obtain a new field assignment.
3. The Home Field Assigner will provide the new details of the agreement to the WDDOA Office through the Field Assigner Rainout Reschedule Google Doc. This link is only provided to the Field Assigners directly.
4. Failure to respond to opposing team within a reasonable amount of time may result in the game being automatically rescheduled: a single team may initiate reschedule process through WDDOA Office if opponent is being unresponsive within the 5 days. Any conflict created by this process for non-responsive team will ONLY be resolved through the Reschedule Request Process, all fees apply. Please reschedule your rained out games in a timely fashion!
